At the end of 3 weeks of the 22 day revolution, I feel like I didn’t stay on track but B did. He did not eat meat and had amazing will power and dropped about 10-15 lbs. Going forward I think he will be ready to have portion sizes that are smaller and incorporate smarter breakfasts. He did great! So proud of him! My goals were to curb mindless eating – it depended on the day. I don’t know if it’s the nursing, or what is causing me to not follow my hunger signs and eat whenever I think of something that I want to eat! Here are some tips of curbing mindless eating that I need to follow myself:

Listen to your hunger signals and eat as you are getting hungry. Don’t wait until you are starving or you will overeat!
Out of site, out of mind. Remove any temptations from your house or don’t keep them at eye level!
Plan out your meals and snacks.

What other tips do you have for curbing mindless eating?

Going into flu/cold season, I have been looking for smoothies to load up on fruits and veggies.
Here are 2 good ones that I found – do you have a fave?

Meal planning

Thursday –  cornmeal polenta & crispy chick peas
Friday –  make your own pizza

My workouts have taken a beating due to the 4-month sleep regression. Naps are about 30 min then I put the baby on me and she sleeps more. It has been about a week, and I think she’s starting to go back to normal!  I am just going with the flow for now – some days I get frustrated though! But trying to realize the time goes fast and enjoying all my snuggles!

  1. Hang in there! It must be awful. Our 4-month sleep regression lasted from like 3-10 months, and I feel like I am just barely coming out of a fog! I think my rookie parenting skills contributed to that.
