A little taste of week 30

  • 2 miles seems like 26.2 miles, twice. Remember when 2 miles was a walk in the park?
  • They tell you constipation comes along, yet I’ve been going to the bathroom more than ever.
  • I felt like I was having a foot seizure while laying in bed. Although exhausted it sometimes takes me 2 hours to find a position and actually fall asleep. My foot was being weird and needed to move and kick things??
  • Moody. I have little patience.
  • I’m exhausted and noticed today I had bags under my eyes!
  • Right above my belly button is KILLING me. It feel like it is pushing out and just majorly hurts. My belly button didn’t pop out yet but I think it is going to really soon. Gross.
  • Bathroom – at LEAST twice a night.
  • Signed up for a childbirth class all day on Sat and plan to back out. 🙂
    Would rather NOT know!

I’ve been a bad commenter this week, but I’ll get back on that soon! Busy week!

It is only 9 days until Christmas, and 2 months until peanut arrives!

  1. I think you must be the most active pregnant lady i have ever come across. And you should be really proud of yourself! Wow, you’re at week 30?? My sister is at week 23 btw. :-)10 more weeks until peanut arrives! Woohoo. Can’t wait to meet this little baby.

  2. You are my hero! For real. We are TTC and I hope that whenever it does happen I will be able to stay as active as you! Great job!

  3. I’m always moody and have no patience. Think I’m pregnant? :o)Just kidding. Way to stay active. You’re doing great!

  4. Ah your so close! It will be here before you know it, for your running sake! I have little patience and am moody every day, i guess thats my womanly trait LOL. Happy week before Christmas

I wouldn’t back out of the class. I was glad I knew some of the stuff when I actually went into labor. 😉

  6. You week 29 of slowing down, doesn’t look like someone who is slowing down. Enjoy your last 10 weeks of quiet and rest! You are doing great.

  7. Just think how happy you will be when you have that little baby to hold and cuddle with! Your running will come back and you will have a little kid to share it with!

  8. Aw, hang in there. If it makes you feel any better, I’m not pregnant and I have to get up to pee a few times a night, too!

  9. slowing down is relative…remember who your “competition” is these days and you’re about to win a gold medal! i never took a childbirth class but i read about it on my own. i’m glad i did it that way…i think there were things i’m glad i knew about on a clinical level but i was afraid a class would be too touchy-feely for my taste. but i wouldn’t go in totally blind, and remember it’s all very individual too.

Constipation started for me AFTER I had the little guy. I’d never been constipated before in my life. Who knew it sucked so much? And the moodiness just gets worse but just embrace it. You can get away with a lot when you are pregnant.

I really enjoyed my antenatal classes. I had a great group and we had quite a good laugh. Weird as it sounds… :-)My tolerance levels are getting even lower than normal. I’m generally finding people quite annoying. I’m such a joy to be around. Te he.Take care and run a mile for me please.xx

  12. Being pregnant is tough, isn’t it? Your foot thing reminds me of the restless leg syndrome I had. And you know, your belly button might not ever pop out – for some women, it doesn’t. I, on the other hand, scored an umbilical hernia, which meant it didn’t sink back in after I had the Cub… had to have surgery!

  13. next week you will be in the single digits of weeks to go!!! you are doing awesome!!

My husband would say that the moodiness continues on after you give birth. Sorry!I’d go to the childbirth class. It’s good to know what your options are in different scenarios so you don’t get bulldozed by the hospital staff telling you what you need to do when you might not need those interventions at all. If you’re informed of the possibilities, its easier to stand up for yourself and tell the nurses/Dr NO. :)I wish I would have kept a log on how much working out I did while pregnant. Even though you think it’s not much now, I think you’ll look back at this time in amazement that you were able to fit so much in.

  15. If you consider that slowing down, I would hate to see what you consider speeding up. 🙂
