Soon my husband and I are heading out on our first airplane trip away from the kids. We have left them for 2 nights, while about 3 hours away at a wedding, and that has been it. In 6 years.  We will celebrate our 10 year anniversary in June but wanted a warm destination for this winter.  I started prepping the house for the grandparents to stay with the kids and be me for a week! I started getting a little crazy with it and labeling everything:

I have everyday written down in a binder and what the kids need. And then dinner suggestions that are easy.

Monday – mac and cheese (leftovers in freezer) and spinach balls
Tuesday – breakfast for dinner 🙂
Wednesday – soba noodles and meatballs with carrots
Thursday – quesadillas with broccoli
Friday – Pizza? Grilled cheese?

I was unmotivated this week and bored of getting up early! My best workout day was Thursday when I ran up and down the street for 2 miles while all the kids were in school – yeah!  I thought the treadmill at the gym was broken on Tuesday when I was out of breath doing a pretty slow pace.  The belly is getting larger and running is day to day – never know what I’m going to get. Lifting seems to work well though!

5 mins warm-up
10 mins of 30s on: 30s off at 10 mph on treadmill at 2.0 incline.
15 mins of SSC (steady state cardio) at 6.7 mph.
3 rounds of:
10 pull-ups
10 SA KB squats (right) 30#
10 KB push-jerks
10 pull-ups
10 SA KB squats (left)
10 KB push-jerks
